Objective
Warner Music International wanted to increase the awareness of their band Simple Plan in the UK and European territories. Simple Plan are a Canadian rock band, with huge success in the US.
Solution
We decided to build a Facebook application, which offered Simple Plan fans something really special.
The Simple Plan Fan Quiz was created, which all fans of Simple Plan could add to their Facebook profile, and join in with the competition. Fans were quizzed about the band, with every user ranked depending on how well they knew Simple Plan. Prizes for the best fans included signed copies of their latest album, tickets to their concerts and for the 1st prize winners, VIP tickets to meet the band!
Results
Over 3,000 uniques used the application on a daily basis, with the number one fan investing over three hours a day on the app! Each of the top 10 fans answered over 20,000 questions.
