Yesterday I had breakfast at the newly refurbished Savoy hotel on the Strand. Not something I do everyday, however I was invited to a seminar hosted by Adobe and Valtech on “Managing Brand Perception on a Global Stage”.
Last night we popped out of the office and into Heaven night club, the venue for this years BIMA Awards ceremony. We kick-started the evening in the VIP area with lots of drinks which pretty much set the standard for the rest of the evening. Needless to say some of the team are feeling a little worse for wear today…
Last week the social team headed to the private rooms in Victoria where we co-hosted a special preview of Ubisoft’s latest game “Michael Jackson The Experience”.
On Tuesday last week the team headed down to the Penthouse at Leicester Square for the launch of the James Bond’s DB5 Magazine. Hosted by Neoco on behalf of GE Fabbri, the evening was a decadent affair with champagne and canapes galore. The venue provided fantastic views across London and our very own Nigel aka ‘DJ Carlos‘ delivered some classic Bond tunes.
These past 9 weeks for me has been fun. Yes, that’s probably the best word to describe my internship at Neoco, although unbelievable, surreal, and memorable wouldn’t be far off as well. I was a just a random Indonesian girl that applied for an internship and after so many pointless phone calls and ignored e-mails from many local agencies I was very surprised that an agency- from London of all places! – actually thought something of me.
