What Do You Love?

So it seems Google have launched a new site, albeit very quietly. The new service is called “What do you love?” and the long-term plan looks to give a unified UI to search across many of Google’s services – or, to put it in English – provide a single page of relevant results from multiple channels (such as YouTube, Maps and Translate etc).

Reaching out too far

I try really hard not to rant online – I believe that your online presence and profiles can be monitored and viewed at any time and potentially could just be seen by far too many people. It can even feel sometimes (especially if you work in new media and social) that you can no longer be openly “social” with your online presence… (but that’s a rant for another day)!

Zuckerberg could buy… a Caribbean nation

Mark Zuckerberg is the 26-year-old founder of Facebook with a net worth of $12.5bn. Each week he decides what he could spend his money on. This week he wants to go on a Caribbean holiday. While other people might merely buy islands, this week Mark has set his sights on a few small Caribbean nations: Grenada, The Seychelles, Saint Lucia and Antigua and Barbuda!
