Today’s top site is one that has wasted more than a little time in the Neoco office: Famous Objects from Classic Movies.
The concept is simple, yet addictive. You are shown a series of objects that represent a famous movie, and you have to type letters (a la hangman) until you have guessed the movie title. There are over 70 movies on offer, enough to keep you occupied for a lunch hour.
The joy of this site for me is the attention to detail. The design is spot on, and the way the letters and main image fade in as you type makes it look as if it could be built in flash, but it isn’t. It is all done with lovely accessible HTML/CSS/Javascript. Which means it gets a big thumbs up from me!
